For everyday our lives are entwined
It feels more and more like you read my mind
You know my thoughts and share my fears
How I hope and pray they don’t cause you tears

To give you advice that’s just for you
Even if it means it leaves me blue
I didn’t know that my heart would melt
When I said I’ll always be here to help

To cause you pain is my biggest fear
The only thing that will bring me to tears
To crack that tough outer shell
And let my feelings flow out of the well

You’re my world and I hope you know
You’ve kept me alive whilst I’ve been low
I write this now to let you know
I’m yours forever I hope it shows.
