why is life so dull
full of highs and lows
filled with dread and fear
filled with stinging tears
why is life so shit
filled with lies and regret
full of scars and hatred
tinged with the odd fake smile
why is life so overrated
when it hurts to live it fully
i want to open up and cry
yet i feel like i want to die....
