Alone - Full Version

Alone, Alone,
Isolated, in the cell,
Padded walls, for my confort
Alone, Alone,

Alone, Alone,
I scream and scream,
But all is silent
Alone, Alone,

Alone, Alone,
I fight and fight,
But my jacket is just to tight
Alone, Alone,

Alone, Alone,
The stench of rotting flesh,
The taste of bitter sweet sweat
Alone, Alone,

Alone, Alone,
Forever I shall lay,
Until my very last day
Alone, Alone.

But wait, whats that?
A light from behind the door
Voices and footsetps loud and clear
Hope arises from the pit of my sould
The freedom bell rings its toll

Then, a dim realization
Silence, the bell stops ringing
Silence, my heart stops pounding
Silence, then a single hollow click
The door opens, and freedom waits...

A faint odor
The dream now over
The darkness back
My cell intact

Alone, alone,
Again...

I like this poem. It hints, well obviously states, of insanity, one of my friend's favourite topics. You developed it really well. Nice work! :)
