The Tale of the Deep Dark Sea: Part III
In a hungry haste the beast moved towards its prey
They boy heard its roar, and was filled with rage
The monster that killed his father, returned
And with a murderous rage the boy moved towards the demon
Huge teeth came at him, still harboring the ships planks
And when they finally met, a strange thing followed
As the sea monster's flesh touched the electrified boy
It writhered and burned, and it pulled back in misery
The boy pulled his hand back in wonder
Looking at his glowing hands with shock
The monster ducks under the sea and vanishes
And slowly his hands lose their power
As he lays against some wreckage
Floating in the arms of the sea
After many hours of tottering in the neverending waves
The boy washes up upon some soft dirt of a quiet beach
The sand and hot sun wake him from his rest
His clothes are torn and skin is burnt
But he runs as far from the water as he can get
And for years after he never goes back
But every night his father calls for him
Calling from the depts of the Deep Dark Sea.
