Ballad of the Sea
The sea was calling
But no one heard
The tears were falling
And yet nobody cared
The thunder cracked
In the eerie night
THe lightning flashed
With all its might
The ocean was groaning
But still they slept
The sky was moaning
And still they drempt
The boat began leaning
With each sea's shove
The ship was quivering
At each roar from above
The sea was calling
But no one heard
The tears were falling
And yet nobody cared
Slowly they began to wake
The crew rushed to man the boat
But still they were to late
Because soon it would not float
Their eyes filled with fear
As they glanced out into the dark
Suprised they were to see ice so near
The Captain knew this was the end of the ark
The ship sunk into the sea
Slowly, leaving none behind
Until no more the eye could see
And not a clue could you find
The sea was calling
But no one heard
The tears were falling
And yet nobody cared
