Sonnet of the Heart
Every moment I see you is like the sun shines
My body is warmed and my world lit
From that very first glance I knew you were mine
And since my love for you has never quit
Through all our struggles, through all our fights
We are so close, but yet so far away
Our hearts beat together under the starry night
And yet you shiver when I ask for your hand today
I know it is special, but I only want more
He is your best friend, one last wall
I know you are hurting, but it's time to step through that door
Walk with me and together he will finally fall
Listen to your heart beat, steady and strong
Together we can write our own life song
