Bad Day

Today, I found out I got laid off my job. All of my bills are past due. My car broke down on the intersection this morning. My co-workers made fun of me from head to toe. The bank declined my loan for a new home.

Everything I had planned to happen has turned on me. I wish the people that always said they would always be right here with me were here at this rocky time. I’m having a bad day.

Today, was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. Instead it’s been the worst day of my life. I tried to sing a sad song to turn everything around but that didn’t work. Where do I find the magic to turn my life around?

  1. Orpheus . says:

The day was bad, it can only get worse if the dog raised from a pup bites you, twice, your only son admits to being gay (no grandchildren or family name continuance), you find out your wife is having an affair with the mailman and your neighbour never returns the tools he borrows. To top it off, the barman cuts off your tab and you don't have enough change to buy cigarettes at the vending machine. The cherry on the cake: your priest chews you out for not attending mass.
The only thing that makes it go right again: hello God, it is me again. God be praised.

  2. Virginia (Ginny) Muller says:

You take that sad song you sang, make it a joyful, happy one and remember, troubles and strife are all just a part of our life to make us stronger, and God never gives us more than we can handle. You hang tough and I promise, you will see better days ahead. Just don't give up......Remember, the man upstairs is pulling the strings. God bless.........
