I Thought You Were

At first I thought you were the one for me that would always have my back. I thought you were the one that would always stay true to me even when things weren’t right between us.

I thought you were the one who would always stick with me even when all hell broke out. I thought you were the one who would bring me happiness.

I thought you were the one that would say that you loved me but I just don’t understand you say that you love me but I’m confused about what kind of love this is. Because now you got me having mixed feelings and this is just not going to work like this.

I thought you were the one that would always tell me the truth no matter what. Just please tell me how you want things to be if you want me to leave you all together. Just let me know and you will never have to deal with me ever again. I thought you would never let me down but I guess I was wrong.
