The Bitten Tongue

The King Cobra, like other kings
without any sensible account of provocation
strikes it’s citizens
that unwillingly obey
the laws of the land
in which they roam.
Yet, in the land there is one. The One.
Only if
but it ain’t
unless it is of The Will
in which not even The King Cobra
can defy.
