Fallen Angel

Kept in the dark so long
All hope no longer strong
The faith that once filled her slowly departs
Lying on the floor with a thousand broken hearts
Light that used to reside within flutters out
Her mind now filled with endless doubt
This angel cannot fly
So broken it may just die
Wings tattered and torn
Innocent angel filled with scorn
Holy one now forsaken
From this nightmare will she awaken
Crystal tears from her eyes do pour
A lifeless angel falls to the floor
