The Perfect Tragedy
Romeo and Juliet
How very cliche
No one could be
As naive as they
Silly couple met
And were married in a day
They couldn’t know what love is
Because love doesn’t happen right away
They were caught
And Romeo was sent away
Juliet was proclaimed dead
The very next day
Romeo came back, one vile of poison richer
Saw Juliet and couldn’t believe the sight before his very eyes
Romeo drank his precious poison
And Juliet woke, to a not so wonderful surprise
Romeo was dead and the guards were approaching
Juliet grabbed Romeo’s dagger and buried it within her
Juliet fell onto her sweet Romeo lifeless as ever
Creating history’s most brilliant tragedy that ever were
