Beautiful
Such a shame
Such a pity
She was so beautiful
She was so pretty
And so early she left this world
And I wonder
Could someone out there
Be missing her
Oh well pretty beauty
Your beauty was only skin deep, and you couldn’t hide
Who you were
On the inside
Beauty you were so cold
You thought you were a queen
But pretty beauty
You were so mean
You weren’t so pretty deep down
So wretched and filled with hate
No one liked you
And now it’s to late
Beauty
What do we write on your grave
Beauty was so pretty
But she was the mirror’s devoted slave

Thank you very much. I indeed know what song you're referring to, that was one reason I wrote it.
Great conversation piece. There's this song I've heard on the Christian Radio Station and it directs this line to the mirror, "Who are you to tell me..that I'm less than what I should be, Who are you? Nice Job. ~PEACE OUT
Thank you both. I appreciate it. It's nice to know that people even take the time to read the words I write. Again thank you both very much for your feedback and your words of kindness.
Your write gives the readers a lot to think about, beauty fades as sure as the sun rises, all so temporary, not so with our Id/soul who we really are...
This is nice i really like it.
i like this a lot
it's not often it's our looks that make the everlasting impressions...
great poem
Thanks, haven't been on in ages so sorry if I'm getting back to you late. Thank you very much for the comment.
