I took some lines from one of my other poems.

When you yell and scream
I feel as though you are beating me
with your words
For you are the parent
I am merely a child
lost in my world
thriving for help, and attention
but you know not how to give it correctly
I need that attention you cannot give
but whyy? why can't you understand?
I cried out to you,
but you just told me I need to be happy too
I do not blame you
for wishing happiness upon yourself
but please oh please think of me
selfish or not
I need to be thought of
maybe someday
you will stop with this foolish game of love
only time will tell..
