painkiller
sleeping...
crying...
laughing...
dying.
she looks to him for comfort
and only finds pain.
what else can she do.
she's tried so many times
to see it all
his way
his way is so
him.
so she sleeps
and prays
that in her dreams
he will
want her
need her
love her.
then she cries...
and yearns
for his sympathy
and loving arms.
instead,
he walks away.
now she laughs
trying to rid
her mind
her heart
her soul
of the memory
of him.
and when she dies
she tries once more
to see it all
his way,
but his way
is so,
so
him.
