inhale
Misted daze around the moon
gliding freely, raindrops swoon
Tempting aroma of the night
treetops dark, awaiting light
Streetlight forms a cross of gold
a blur of light, warmth in the cold
The world seems still at first glance
but one probe deeper reveals romance
We circle the sun and float on the sea
attempting to live, remaining free
The air grows thicker, the trees wear thin
our minds grow cluttered as we continue in sin
The intrigue, the wonder overlooked every day
when will we realize the beauty of today?
