Bedi Hanuman- What Hanuman does outside the Tirumala Temple.

He didn't venture into the Temple.
Just stood outside;
Looking at the devotees
Walking out.
He prayed the deity in their hearts -
In their minds.
He prayed the fervent zeal
With which they had made their demands
And begged for Money and Happiness,
Power, Fame and comforts.
Even in the intensity of their greed,
He could discern The God's Luminosity,
Ever kind, and ever patient -
Gently making their material cries of need
A plea for Eternity;
By giving them a taste -
Just a tiny slice of Manna;
A thimble of Peace.
Om Shanti.
