Poetry with meaning relaunches!

It's been about a year and a half since we brought Poetrywithmeaning into the world, and it's about time we had a change of pace. This new version of PWM is totally new from the ground up. All your poems and comments are still here, but there's a bunch of new features under the hood.

What exactly is new?

• Brand new design
• New community discussions -- talk and have fun with your fellow poets.
• New blog -- this one replaces our old "articles" section and broadens the topics we can talk about.
• Ask an expert -- post up your question and get it answered.
• The shop -- a few things we think you might like to buy.

What else?

• You can now keep track of what's going on with your poems at your dashboard. It'll notify you of new comments and approvals of your poems.
• View a random poem (you can find the link in the right sidebar under Browse).
• You can now track comments for your poems with RSS feeds. (The blog too!)
• Featured poems! If we feature your poem, it'll get posted on the homepage for a whole week. Awesome!
• You can upload your own avatars now! They will show up on your author page and in the community discussions. Upload them on the Edit Profile page of your account.

All in all this new version of PWM allows us to expand easier and do more with what we have. We hope you like it, and please give us your feedback!

   ya know, ive been posting here for just as long as you guys have been around. i love the look and all the help you guys have given me on here and myspace. you also helped me pick the best web site to publish my poetry book at!!

    For weeks I've been bouncing around the web "experimenting" with the different poetry sites, ease of use, features, etc., and I keep coming back to Poetry with meaning. I have deleted all of my other "test" accounts and have made this my new home. Thank you all so much for giving me a place to express myself, despite how depressing or sad I may be. I'm really a clown at heart, but circumstances in life can also bring down the clown and I'm afraid I may be down a while. I miss my son deeply and if I couldn't express it in my writing, I don't know how I would cope. Thank you again to everyone who makes this site possible....~enyaw~
