When life gets crazy... A diamond in the rough
So, I am just sitting around being bored, reflecting on this summer. I realize that this has been one of the most stressful summers of my life. No, I take that back, this has been the worst summer of my life. However, there was plenty good to come of it. I got to experience what a week in jail is like, I was able to get out of a dead end abusive relationship, I met some awesome new friends, we were able to launch the new version of Poetrywithmeaning.com, I got a great new home, I am dating an amazing woman, and the list can go on. All in all, this summer was crazy.
This brings me to my next point, when everything is crazy, I write amazing poetry. I find that when nothing goes right, your emotions come out. When your emotions come out, you can write amazing poetry. This is because your emotions spill onto the paper and the end result is sincere, beautiful, honest… I do not encourage you to make your life crazy but when it happens, and it will, be sure to write!

My summer has been slow and not much exciting. Even my birthday is gonna be borring. Well ok enough about me complaining. Yours may of been crazy, but hey, at least you got a lot of new experiences eh? But you know what my most craziest thing happen this summer? Being in love with two girls at once, and having to choose what one i love more. So yeah, i wrote of poem about it. Haha!
I second this my friend, well said. Going through almost 3 months with no job, being broke, bills racking up, etc. Things are really stressful, but thank God we can write.
YOU GUYS WILL SURELY ENVY MY SUMMER,IT'S HALF OF THE YEAR AND THE TEMPERATURE IS BETWEEN 33C - 39C!!!YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR THE SOUNDS OF SUMMER, AND THE LAUGHTERS THAT COMES WITH IT!!!WOULD YOU LOVE THIS??? YEA,YEA,YEA, AND I SPEND HAVING SOOOOOO MUCH FUN IN THE SUN AND SAND!!! AT NIGHT I WRITE UNDER THE BRIGHT STARRY NIGHT BY THE SEA WITH THE SOUNDS OF THE TIDES COMING IN.THIS LAND IS RAW,VERY PRIMITIVE,VERY PEACEFUL AND VERY BEAUTIFUL WHERE THE SUN RISES FROM THE SEA EVERY MORNING AT 5 TO BRING LIFE AND LOVE.
