Formatting

Does anyone know if there is a way to submit a poem to this site where it will keep its shape, such as Diamante, or shape poetry in general? Or just a way to center one? I tried to submit a diamante (diamond-shaped) and all my html tags were showing and the poem had no formatting to it.
Thanks,
~enyaw~
Can you show me an example of what you mean exactly? We can look into conditional formatting (left/center/right alignment). But just want to cover all the bases if we do so.
Just "IGNORE" this request for help...Thanks anyway.
Calm down, we're not ignoring anyone :) I've been moving this week and have no internet for the next week or so. It'll be a little while until I get to this request and figure out a way to accommodate formatting without adding unneeded complexity.
just a simple editing toolbar (alignment, bold, italics, underline, size, font) would be fantastic, BUT integrating html would be ideal.
poetry pales dramatically without these things. that's not even an opinion.
yeah im with ~enyaw~ i posted a concrete and it came out like a wierd looking poem and not like a question mark(?)(the subject of said concrete poem) at all. i was upset and i had to remove it because it didn't convey my message at all.
the formating tool bar would be awsome. HTML would be superb and Java would blow my mind.
