Is love easy for you to write about, Do you really know what love is? Love and poetry, whats with the connection?
Its like a sensation that poets usually convey through their writing: happiness, sadness, despair, even enchantment. But love can have a different sense to different people. I think Love is just another sensation that writers interpret differently. :)
Love is getting difficult for me to write because 1. it's been written about so much already and 2. love itself is a multi-faceted emotion.
Love is easy for me because love is honest. Love is a true emotion that can be blended into almost everything. Sad from love, happy from love, afraid of love. All emotions can have deep connections with it, so it's hard not to include love in something that is made up of emotions like poetry.
Love seems to be my most simplest thing to write about. But mine is more on long distance relationships, more eperience i guess. There's a large variety of emotions found within love, so that offers alot of topics on love.
I find writing about love for me is almost always sad, BUT I am ever hopeful that will change but until then, at least I can express how I feel. I totally agree with Fades that love blends with any and all emotions and that makes for great poetry.
i love the topic of love it always brings a raging swirl of emotions forth whether good bad happy or sad it alway provide an interesting poem for me. love is a deep and confusing emotion i don't know if i have really ever had it but any time i have ever came close has been quite the adventure. but i am young what do i really know
Love is about liberation and can only be experienced by the young of heart.
What ever is in a person's heart, that they shall be. To write of love is to write of who you are, love poems, Erato's fruits, reflect whatever you give it as nourishment.
To equate love with sadness is to deny possibility. To claim ignorance of it is to think of it as it is idealised and not as it really is. Love can be answered by questions: 'what is worth living for?', 'what is worth dying for?' 'what does my vision of love say about me?'.
Of all things on earth, love is the only thing that keeps us human and that is why we write about it. All love poems, to me, answer these three questions.
I am a cynic when it comes to affairs of the heart, it reflects in my poetry.
Many people are just in a rush to win favour and say and do things to put them in favourable light. To be honest is the hardest thing of all, especially with the self.
Keep writing artfully.
