What I thought would be a pretty cool is for each poem written, authors have the choice of putting authors notes about the poem, it could appear on the side or the bottom of the poem before the comments. Just to give readers an idea of where the poem came from, the feelings behind it, or its significance to the author
I dont know, I thought it would be more helpful than authors commenting themselves to put authors notes.

I think this is a great idea. It would bring the authors closer together as a family of writers.
