am i to young?
i am only 13 and i am writing poetry. and i think i am kinda good. but i think i am to young to be writing poetry like i am. am i to young? what should i think?
one of my poems: sometimes only blinde can see.
Many people saylove is gone
but it has been there all a long!
It's right there in front of your face.
you just lost loves trace.
Even a blind man could see
love was always in front of thee.
Some people say cupid has lost his arrows,
or he is busy shooting sparrows.
Even a blind man could see the thing,
that was missing.
the blind would say "people have lost their heart,
thats why people are a part.
people say
"love has been gone to this day.
Others say "love is a crime."
Maybe you have to be blind to see love was there all this time!?

You are never too young!!! I am glad to see that there are so many younger people writing poetry. Don't think that you are "kinda good" you are good. You are writing and it comes from the heart... Please keep doing what you love and don't let people tell you that you are too young... We have been getting more and more young people writing on this site and we welcome them with open arms... Please get your poetry on the site for people to comment on and rate, the more feedback, the better!!!
Good Luck

You are most welcome, Keep up the good work!
Hi Kendra!!! I must say that you're a sweet young lady. Keep on sharing your talent! Making poetries does not require any age. I'm glad that in your early age you can already express your thoughts in a very creative manner. I remeber..... I also start making poetries in a very young age...when I was at the age of 10.
I am happy to see younger people involved!
